Who? You!

Until now, The Alternative UK has run with a small team of Co-intiators and just over 600 co-creators who offer their time in a variety of ways. However, the alternative we are pointing at all the time is not a project owned by an organisation: it is not even an umbrella under which we invite people to gather. Instead, it is a platform for the work that everyone in the new socio-economic-political system is doing - it's your space. Without the ideal technology, we have designed entry points for contribution through Loomio groups and Discord channels as well as fortnightly Zoom calls open to co-creators. We are currently designing, with partners, better technology to make the uploading and co-creating easier. 

Planet A is being launched by the same team that launched The Alternative UK, now called The Alternative Global. But its development will see many more partner organisations and co-creators - all planetarians - share responsibility and ownership of its future.
