Come talk to civic transformer Imandeep Kaur at our next Zoom discussion “The Elephant Meets...”, on 4th August

The next speaker in our The Elephant Meets… series (where we interview those trying to forge the “next system”, now). is the civic transformer Imandeep Kaur (“Immy” to her pals - and she has many of those).

Immy’s great project at the moment is Civic Square - “a public square, a neighbourhood lab, and a creative + participatory platform focused on regenerative civic and social infrastructure within neighbourhoods”, with plans for transforming an actual Birmingham neighbourhood.

Before that, she was the director of Birmingham Impact Hub, now closed but a driving force in that great city’s active citizenship, in childcare, housing and creative resistance.

Immy recently led the extraordinary Re: festival, an online response to COVID, drawing hundreds of speakers and thousands of viewers together, to try and create a “Department of Dreams”.

If you’re interesting in a soulful, practical, visionary approach to building the next system, then come listen to and talk with Immy at our Zoom event at 5.00-6.30pm, on Tuesday 4th August, 2020 (sign up here and Add to Calendar). Or use the embedded form below:
