"When you feel burnt out, or if you're shutting down and want to hide, do the opposite". Pulsating manifestos from Pussy Riot and BLM

So many enterprises wanting to hitch their stars to the general uprising… here’s an initiative from WeTransfer, the file-storing service, called WePresent. They’ve decided that high-quality visuals, editorial and activism is the way to promote their product. So to that end, they’re commissioning some cultural and political manifestos (we have more than a few manifestos on A/UK), asking for “ten rules to live by” as a format. The results are stylish and motivational.

The first one (posted above) is from Nadya Tolokonnikova, “a Russian conceptual artist and political activist and the founding member of Pussy Riot: the world’s most prominent feminist protest art collective, which focuses attention on human rights violations at home and abroad”.

And below is from Patrisse Cullors - “artist, organizer, educator, and popular public speaker, a Los Angeles native and Co-Founder of the Black Lives Matter Global Network and Founder of grassroots Los Angeles based organization Dignity and Power Now”.
